Answers

Q. What is a Brush Studio class like?
A. Brush Studio events are held in a relaxed, social setting. An artist will guide you through the featured painting step-by-step. There is no experience necessary! You will be amazed at what you you have created!

Q. What is the appropriate age for your painting events?
A. Ages 16 and up are welcome to all classes
Ages 12 and up are welcome to all classes, with the exception of Friday evenings and Saturday evenings
Ages 8 and up are welcome on Sundays (ages 8-12 must be accompanied by a paid adult)

PLEASE NOTE: Alcohol is served during all classes for 21+ and the atmosphere caters to an adult night out!

Q. Do you offer gift certificates?
A. Yes we do! Click HERE!

Q. How do I sign up and what do I need to do in advance?
A. We highly recommend that you sign up in advance due to classes selling out. There are two ways to sign up, online or over the phone. Click on the tab above that says Pick a Date and find the date/painting you are interested in, register online and follow the payment option. We can also take your reservation over the phone.

Q. What is the cost and what does it include?
A. For regularly scheduled classes, the cost is $35. This includes: professional instruction, one 16x20 canvas, paint, brushes, easel, and apron. Beverages and food are sold separately. No outside food and beverages are allowed.

Q. How long are the classes?
A. The classes last between two and two and a half hours.

Q. What should I wear?
A. Although we do provide aprons, we are not responsible for the occasional paint spill! The acrylic paint is hard to get out, so we recommend wearing something you wouldn't mind getting paint on.

Q. Can I bring in food?
A. No outside food or beverages are allowed. We have food and snacks available for purchase. We also have an extensive catering menu for private parties. Contact Jean or Jodi at 952.236.1700 or email jandj@brushstudio.net for more information.

Q. What time should I get there?
A. We recommend that you arrive about 20 to 30 minutes early. This allows the time needed to check in, order drinks, pump your paint, and get seated so class will start on time! The heated underground parking at The Shops at West End fills up fairly quickly in the evening. There is ample parking in the ramps located behind Icon Theaters.

Q. What is your cancellation policy?
A. We require 24 hours notice if you need to cancel. Cancellations should be made via email or over the phone. This provides us the opportunity to fill the space. We will charge the class fee for reservations not cancelled 24 hours in advance, this includes no-shows.

Q. When do the schedules come out?
A. Our schedules come out about six weeks in advance. Join our email list located at the bottom of our homepage and you will get the calendar sneak peek a few days before it is posted to the website.

Q. Do you provide alcohol?
A. Yes! We have an extensive selection of wine, draft and bottled beer. We sell wine by the glass and by the bottle. Brush Studio does not allow outside food and beverages.

Q. There is a specific painting I want to paint, how often are they repeated?
A. We want to hear from you! If there is a specific painting you missed and have been waiting for, please email us and let us know. We will try and get it in the next calendar update. Depending on the popularity of a painting, it could be repeated up to three times a month.

Q. If I come with a group or even just a friend can we sit together?
A. Of course! Use the "Invite Friends" function when signing up online. Your friends will be placed in your group. We will notify them by email and provide a link to sign up and pay.

Q. Is valet parking available?
A. Yes! Valet parking is available for $5 on West 16th Street between Crave and The Loop West End. Brush Studio does NOT validate valet parking.
